Booked sailboat was out of order.
Chartercompany offered alternatives without additional payments: First
47 or Kat Lagoon 410. We choosed catamaran.
Personal of the chartercompany was very kind and loyal with the
clients - they made advance it everything. It is very rare when you
have a deal with italians!

We sailed Lipari islands, great sailing waters, Ityly at it´s best.
A must-be for us was a battened mainsail. By that reason, we decided for al older boat (built 2001), which was perfectly maintained.
The FIRST was owned by the chartercompany´s owner, who sails regattas himself with it (I think, this explains all without further comments)
There was a greywater tank mentioned in the equipment-list, which did not exist. |
