The chartercompany should check BEFOR Handover the state of the boat.
Or said else: with the next checkin, we will check each single item in detail. F.E. if one shows us, where the repair-set for the dinghi is stored, we will open it and check, if the glue is still there - ineed it was empty.
Some complaints could be done at handover, as the not running clock, a broken door locker, nearly no cups and glasses (2 pieces!), missing winch handle, generally very bad cleaned, dirty all around, tatty pantry.
On our way some more things happened:
Barometer did not work (was not seen at handover), no anchor light, Navigational light portside was broken, Fuel indicator always indicated "full", even after we used 100 l, water tank indicator for the bowtank was not working, more: the tank was empty and not full as they confirmed to us.
Many small complaints: hand-bearing-compass seemd to be a playtoy from a "surprise-egg", toolkit in VERY poor condition, not even a pincer in it.
The staff was friendly, both in Kos as in Athens. We would charter from Nomicos again, but with much more cvare for the handover and surely more complaints before we leave the port |
